Question by leighski67: Has anyone ever heard of “Post Strep Reactive Arthritis”?
If so have you ever heard of it lasting longer than a yr and continueously?

my boyfriend had strep and 3 weeks later had such bad pain & swelling in his ancle that he had to go to the hospital for 4 days and was told he had reactive arthritis. he was never exposed to clamidia or food bacteria so reactive arthritis must have come from the strep. it has been 3 and a half weeks and his ancle still kills him. perscriptions don’t seem to do anything. let me lnow if you have any info.
