New video from the awesome Swedish band Love Is All.
The device on my friends old James 197 bike is a reed valve inserted between the carb and the inlet manifold. Reed valves were not new so that was not my invention but nobody before had positioned it in that way and it therefore became a “bolt on goodie” adaptable and available for any machine. Of course the reed valve assembly had to be designed and built, and I am sorry that I could not show you any photos of it. Interestingly. Many two strokes now have some method of achieving asymetrical porting and the reed valve is one way of doing this and many including Yamaha fit it in the way that I did all those years ago. I guess that I should have patented it, ![]()

@lexagon77 your right,? its weird looking back at stuff you wrote on ages ago on you tube and thinking “how embarrassing” I was probably just trying to get more people to listen to it
@keflar5 to call this song a filler is way off…? Nine Times That Same Song HAS no filler!
nom nom? nom!
I bought? the album after happening on this song by chance, this album is one of the best albums I have ever heard! This isn’t even the best song on the album, Busy Doing Nothing or Make Out Fall Out Make Up are much better but that doesn’t mean that still isn’t an amazing song!!!
They remind me a lot of X-Ray Spex
NIIICEE!!!!!!!!?
yes? good really good
hey im just giving my own opinion ya… but theres a lot of bands out there thats doing this kind of sound so i dunno about being original……. but imo i just don get this kind of shit…? like the vocalist honestly sounds like a dying cat…… but if u like it up to u mate
its not about having some computer generated voice or some corporation’s ideal image…it’s about having your own original style and unique sound. I’d say this band does it excellently. I didn’t like them much either when? I first heard them but now this is one of favourite songs
love? this song
the? vocalist can’t sing.. sounds like a dying cat.. i’m not a big fan of this indie stuff.. i just don’t get it
I love all? of you.
this album is a lost classic, people are so fucking thick. If you like this tune then buy the album because this is a? filler track and its still UBERNAG (very good)
have a good day

This is the bestest band in the whole wide world, and what wonderful little colorful creatures they have crawling all about their screen videos. They much be very hip to party with. Maybe when they come to the America this my favorite? band of all time can play an awesome concert for Alex.
very very nice !?
love? it o/
I really? don’t think its you , pal, but the aged condition of the machine you are operating. I visited a cousin in Mpls, and tried to ride the Norton bike we used in the 60s.. it wouldn’t go very fast and we both fell off.. we are a little weightier altho, after 40 + years…he still has the bike! cheers! thanks for sharing..
Hello There geriatric1927 you did fine while riding your grandsons bike ! …. I have seen people 20 years? old ride worse then that ! ….. GOOD JOB ! and keep it up
@texmanro
I like? that quote that you used: “Every state of life has its beauty”.
I’m going to start doing that, it’s definitely a good perspective to have on life.
I won’t pretend I understand or care about the mechanical stuff. I just wanted to comment that I was quite? impressed by you and your mate’s balance on that contraption, especially at such a slow speed! I’d have tumbled over like I had rocks in my pocket. Haha!
You are so awesome! Keep doing what? you do and no, your topics are not stupid. Instead, they’re just amazing things that other Youtubers usually don’t touch upon. Greetings from Canada!
You? have all of my respect! Best wishes from England!
you look like you’re? riding the bike well, mate. I didn’t see you fall off or anything.
I HOPE YOU NEVERRRRRRR? DIE
Please don’t call? this a “stupid topic”! There is so much young people can learn from older people if they would just listen. Videos like yours are a great way to make them pay attention!
I hope I can still get on and ride a motorcycle when I’m your age. I think you did well? to ride it. Take care. Rich
@HappyCamper999
my grandmother has the same button.? it’s a very good thing for older people who live alone and maybe need help in a dangerous moment.
You’re the best, sir. Keep on keepin’ on.? You look great for your age.
Beeing old may not be fun, but it’s no reason to coffin yourself. The game is over not until the referee blows the whistle. But regarding to road traffic, I think it’s better to know the signs of time and to? be rational. The abilty to see, hear and react gets weaker by the time. That’s a fact. I think I would leave my pride behind and give up my driver’s licence by myself.
No offence meant!
Best wishes from Germany!
Peter, I’m about a year older than you are, so I certainly know what you’re talking about. I never had a? motorcycle because I have always been afraid of them. No protection in case of an accident. I remember riding my bicycle so hard that my legs would ache. But I loved the speed. Today, I don;t even like to sit on the one I still have. My med problems a a slow parastalsis and morning depression. But I just fight it off and carry on. George in Minnesota
Two of my friends said they didn’t wanna live past 60. Actually three said that. Ageing is a scary process and they believed when you couldn’t do things you did at a young age, your life quality would? be discounted. I’m in my late 20s and already feel exhausted all the time. I seriously need your outlook and spirit granddad.
I’m close to? 61, and realize there are many physical things i could do at 20 but wouldn’t even consider attempting now. But to me, the part of aging that becomes more and more difficult for me is the los of dear relatives and friends.
Your advice and motorcycle skills are both sound, perhaps just a bit rusty from lack of applying them.
You blessed your grandson with memories by including him on your visit and blessed your viewers by filming? it. Thank you!
Mr. Geriatric, I have a question for you. Since your from a generation when laws on firearm ownership were much laxer in the UK, what are your views on gun ownership and use? Do you think that there are legitimate reasons for a common? person to own firearms? Furthermore, what are your views on hunting in general and the banning of hunting foxes with hounds?
I would just like to say that i am a 15 year old girl, and you may wonder why i would be subscribed o your channel. Here is my reason: My grandmother lived with me until she passed away the the age of 85 only 2 years ago. I was able to? watch her live, and even as an older person she was very lively. You remind me of her because you try stay active and involved in life. Thank you. Keep living.
Well, you ride a motorcycle much better than I since I don’t ride at all. My husband tried to? teach me when we were younger, but I was too scared of the thing. I’ll stick to horses.
Thats a sweet little trials bike you guys had there. Sounded like it was running beautifully considering how old it must be. Someones cared for that bike for a fair while. Thank you for sharing that mate. Btw my neighbor used to have an old Villiers 800cc single banger lawn mower, it was a beast of a thing but? it still run good
Hello i’m a new viewer of yours. May i suggest making a video of your motorcycling history. Apologies? if you have already done so.
@Walk792Q It came out wrong dude. I? was just worried. I should have asked “Are you ill”, but, like I said, it came out wrong. I’m sorry.
? good videos 5****
@JADsGames How the hell? can you ASK that… thats out of order
